Fitment
Will these graphics fit my bike?
Yes. We cut every kit on a template built for your exact bike, brand, model and year — you enter those details when you order. We hold templates from 1995 models to current. If your model isn't listed, email order@ard88.se and we'll confirm before you buy.
My bike isn't one of the brands you list. Can you still help?
Almost always. We can redraw any design in our catalogue onto a different brand or model. Order the Full Custom Graphics kit, tell us the design you want and the bike you have, and we'll do the rest.
I'm running aftermarket plastics. Does that change anything?
It does, and we need to know. There's a field at checkout for exactly this — tell us the brand of your plastics and we cut to those templates instead of the OEM shape. Kits cut for aftermarket plastics are made to your specification and can't be returned.
What's included in a graphics kit?
A full kit covers the shrouds, side panels, front and rear fenders, swingarm, fork guards and number plate backgrounds, matched to what your model actually has. Airbox and lower fork decals are included where the model uses them.
Customising your kit
What's the difference between semi custom and full custom?
A semi custom kit starts from one of our ready-made designs. You choose your name, race number and plate colours; we adapt the design and print it. €165, ready in 3–5 working days.
A full custom kit starts from nothing. You describe what you want, upload your sponsor logos, and our designers build the artwork from scratch. €259, 1–2 weeks including your approval.
Do I get to see the design before you print it?
On full custom orders, yes — always. We send a proof and don't print until you approve it. On semi custom kits you're picking a design you can already see, so we print straight away; if you want to check the placement of your name and number first, just ask when you order.
Can I add sponsor logos?
Yes. Upload them when you order — .jpg, .png and .eps all work, and vector files (.eps, .ai, .pdf) give the sharpest result. If all you have is a low-resolution screenshot, we'll tell you before we print rather than after.
Can you match my gear to my bike?
That's what Full Custom MX Gear is for. Same design language on the bike and on the rider, with sponsor logos printed into the fabric instead of applied afterwards.
Materials and durability
What material do you print on?
Premium MX-grade vinyl with a laminate layer over the printed artwork. The laminate takes the abuse — roost, boot scuffs, UV — instead of the ink.
What do the finish options actually do?
- Gloss — standard. Deepest colour, easiest to clean.
- Matte (+€25.95) — flat, no reflections, hides light scuffing well.
- Holo glitter (+€35.95) — our most popular upgrade. Rainbow sparkle that shifts with the light.
- Silver glitter (+€35.95) and gold glitter (+€45.95) — metallic sparkle in a single tone.
- Full chrome (+€99) and full holochrome (+€99) — printed on a mirror base so the whole kit reflects.
Will they survive a pressure washer?
They'll survive normal washing. Keep the lance at least 30 cm back, use a wide fan and never hold it on an edge or a seam. A concentrated jet at close range will lift any graphic on any bike, ours included.
How long will a kit last?
That depends entirely on how hard you ride and how you wash. Riders racing every weekend typically refresh once a season; trail and enduro riders get considerably longer. Proper application is the single biggest factor — see our fitting guide.
Ordering and delivery
How long until my kit arrives?
Semi custom: 3–5 working days in production. Full custom: 1–2 weeks including your design proof. Transit time on top depends on your country and is shown at checkout. Chrome, holochrome and glitter finishes can add a day or two.
What does shipping cost?
Free within the EU on orders over €200. Below that it's calculated at checkout. We ship worldwide — see our shipping page.
Can I return a kit?
Unused, non-personalised items can be returned within 14 days. Kits printed with your name, number, custom colours or custom artwork are made to your specification and can't be returned. Full detail on our returns page.
Do you do club and team orders?
Yes, and it's a good chunk of what we do. Matching kits for a whole team, club colours across a group of bikes, matching gear — email order@ard88.se with numbers and we'll quote.
